I do agree that some breeds (e.g. pitbulls and rottweilers) are demonized in the media but the fact is that these breeds ARE more likely to attack. It is in their nature and psychology. Pitbulls were bred for dogfighting and rottweilers were bred for guarding..... What do you expect? No matter how good an owner is.... no matter how well trained a dog is... some breeds are just more vicious and aggressive. For example a badly trained poodle isn't going to kill someone but a badly trained pitbull will eventually.... so it does depend on the breed. My friend has a rottweiler and he knows a lot about dogs. He had togo out of town for a day but ended up staying for 3 days. Meanwhile his neighbors were too chicken to go feed his rottweiler. When my friend came back home.. the rottweiler went for him... biting his arm and viciously attacking him... What do you say to that?... Read More »
